TransAtlantic Petroleum has announced its prices could rise, after the Turkish government increased its gas price by 9%.
The company said it expects its natural gas price sale to increase following the announcement.
It is the first change in Turkey’s natural gas price in 24 months and will be effective through until at least the end of the year.
The company has also announced that overall production for September was more than 5,400 BOEPD (barrels of oil equivalent per day).
TransAtlantic spudded 11 wells and completed six new wells in the third quarter of 2014.
This year to date, the company has spudded 24 well and completed 19 new wells and currently has three active rigs in southeastern Turkey, with another in the Thrace Basin of northwestern Turkey.
