The chief financial officer of a United Arab Emirates rig construction business has stepped down from her position with the company.
Joanne Curin was also on the board of Lamprell which provides engineering contracts to the oil and gas industry.
The company said Ms Curin has guided the company through a “key period” and will help complete the handover process in the next month.
John Kennedy, chairman of Lamprell, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Joanne Curin for her significant contribution to the Group notably in relation to the successful rights issue and debt facility refinancing that took place in May.
“We wish her well for the future.”
A search to find her successor has already begun and is expected to be announced shortly.
In the interim, Tony Wright, who is currently vice president of finance, has been appointed to the role of deputy chief financial officer.
