UK gas prices took their biggest plunge in more than a month after Russia and Ukraine finally managed to secure a gas deal.
The agreement, which was heavily orchestrated by the EU, was struck in the run-up to winter.
However, the final deal cut UK gas prices by 2.7% to 54.08 pence per therm ($8.60 a million British thermal Units) on ICE Futures Europe.
