An executive director from Woodside Petroleum is set to take up a new role with Beach Energy as its managing director.
Rob Cole stepped down from his current role as both a director and as executive vice president of corporate and commercial with Woodside following the announcement.
He is set to replace the retiring managing director of Beach Energy, Reg Nelson, who leaves his role in June next year.
Beach Energy is now Australia’s largest onshore oil producer and a leader in Australian shale and basin centred gas exploration.
