Cuadrilla Resources has appointed a new board member to replace former BP chief executive Lord Browne.
Roy Franklin will take up the post with immediate effect.
Lord Browne has since moved onto a role as chairman of LetterOne, which is owned by Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman.
Franklin has worked at BP and has also had a seat on the board of Cuadrilla since 2012.
