Oil & Gas UK has announced a number of appointments of member company representatives to its board.
Enquest’s president Neil McCulloch has also been named as vice chair representative for the operator community.
Meanwhile board member Terry Savage, corporate relationship director for Global Energy Group, has been named as his counterpart of vice chair, representing the contractor community.
Joining the board this year are: Andrew Thomson, managing director of offshore, North Sea, Aramark, Chris Bird, managing director of MOL Energy UK, Dave Stewart, chief executive of Wood Group PSN, Gunnar Breivik, managing director of Statoil Production UK, Matt Betts, UK vice president, Halliburton, Neil Clyne, operations director, Transocean Drilling UK Limited, Paul Goodfellow, upstream director UK & Ireland, Shell Exploration & Production and Pete Jones, managing director, United Kingdom, TAQA.
Neil McCulloch said:“I’m pleased and extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to serve as operator vice chairman at what is a seminal time for the UKCS.
“As an industry, being able to deliver our share of the tripartite obligations coming out of the Wood Report will require active leadership and representation from the broad diversity of interests in the basin.
“As such it seems fitting that EnQuest, as the largest UK based independent oil producer in the UK North Sea, has a place on the Board of Oil & Gas UK.”
A number of current members including Glen Cayley, Shell Upstream International, Gordon Ballard, chairman and country manager, Schlumberger UK, and Robin Watson, chief executive, Wood Group PSN have stepped down from the board.
