Woodside Energy has chosen not to enter into the next period of an exploration program in Tanzania.
The move is related to the Lake Tanganyika South Production Sharing Agreement.
Beach Energy announced it had been informed of Woodside of the decison.
Beach Energy is now assessing its options for the block where, following Woodside’s decision,it will retain 100% of the agreement and remain the operator.
