Swire Oilfield Services has made an appointment to its executive team.
Roy Shearer will join the company as its chief financial officer and will be based at the offices in Aberdeen.
He will be responsible for the finance function across the group, including accounting and reporting, planning, tax and treasury.
Shearer joins the company with with more than 15 years experience in various senior official roles in the oil and gas industry in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
He said: “Swire Oilfield Services has a long standing reputation for quality and innovation within the industry and I’m very happy to be a part of that. I’m looking forward to working with the senior management team and the wider business to contribute towards the company’s exciting growth plans.”
