Oil major Shell is expected to move to a three on, three off shift pattern at the start of 2016.
The company previously revealed it was in consultation with staff over the move, which is in line with a number of companies including Chevron and EnQuest.
It’s understood any new rota changes would be made in January.
Earlier this year, the company said it would be reducing its headcount by a further 250, in addition to a previous announcement of 250 last year.
A Shell spokeswoman said: “We are currently in consultation with our staff on changes to offshore shift patterns and will not comment further while the consultation is ongoing.”
