US-based exploration company Talon Petroleum has appointed Andrew Crawford to the board following the retirement of Clifford Foss.
Foss retires as managing director and chief executive having led the company since its listing in February 2013.
Crawford joins having been Talon company secretary since December 2014. He has played a pivotal role in reducing the company’s overhead expenditure over the past eight months. He has 14 years chartered and commercial accounting experience having commenced his career with KPMG in 2001.
Crawford is currently company secretary for Houston-based Maverick Drilling and Exploration, and continues to service his private clients.
Talon’s current portfolio consists of seven projects located in East and South Texas.
