Union members are poised to protest at Offshore Europe today.
Unite the Union have planned the move following a dispute with offshore catering companies.
Trade union bosses have accused offshore catering firms of “point blank”refusing to honour a 1.3% pay rise that had been agreed for the year.
The Catering Offshore Trade Association (COTA) represents six offshore catering firms.
Earlier this month it was announced there would be a vote on strike action.
It is understood both Uniter reps and Unite activists will protest at the offices of Sodexo in Aberdeen’s city centre this morning, before heading to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) where Offshore Europe is being held.
