Preliminary production figures for North Sea oil production in Norway for September 2015 showed a slight dip from the previous month before.
Data shows an average daily production of about 1 864 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
This is 58,000 barrels per day (about 3%) less than August 2015.
The figures, released by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, reveal total gas sales were about 9.3 billion Sm3, which is 0.3GSm3 less than previous month.
The average daily liquid production in September was: 1,543 000 barrels of oil, 279,000 barrels of NGL and 42,000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is 4.8% above the oil production in September last year.
The oil production is about 12% above the NPD’s prognosis for the month.
The total petroleum production for the first nine months in 2015 is about 168.1 million Sm3 oil equivalents (MSm3), broken down as follows: about 67.2 MSm3 of oil, about 16.3 MSm3 of NGL and condensate and about 84.6 MSm3 of gas for sale. The total volume is 10.0 MSm3 higher than for the same period in 2014.
Final production figures from August 2015 show an average daily production of about 1.556 million barrels of oil, 0.365 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 9.6 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
