Lundin Petroleum said it has temporarily suspended drilling operations on the Neiden prospect in the Barents Sea due to the looming winter weather.
The company had been carrying out drilling operations on exploration well 7229/6-2 and had successfully drilled a section of the exploration well in PL609.
Lundin said operations are expected to resume next year when the Island Innovator rig will be put back in use for the exploration programme.
