
Police investigating historic bribery and corruption claims at the heart of Petrobras’s contracting culture are set to question more than a dozen new people.
Investigators have issued 11 search and seizure orders in Rio de Janeiro and Bahia.
A further five people are expected to fronted-up in Curitiba. Two individuals are expected to be arrested.
Petrobras has said it was hoodwinked by a few of its employees who allegedly took bribes from a cartel of construction companies and shared the proceeds with politicians.
Petrobras has written down $2billion in graft losses, and said that figure may rise.
The latest round-up includes people, who will be questioned in relation to contracts for the Pasadena and Abreu & Lima refineries.
