Senex Energy confirmed it will bring Marlet field production online early next year.
The firm spudded a well last month, which reached a total depth of 1,535 metres.
Martlet-2 intersected 4.5 metres of net pay in the target zone and was cased and suspended as a future oil producer.
The well is located approximately 190 metres south west of the Martlet-1 production well, and approximately 1.1 kilometres south east of the Martlet North-1 production well.
