Shell has said production is likely to be back up in the “next few days” on Brent Charlie after a power failure led to 29 workers being downmanned last week.
The power failure, on November 26, resulted in oil workers being removed as a precaution. The platform returned to full manning at the next shift change.
Production remains shut in. Shell said last week that it will be restarted once maintenance tasks have been carried out.
Brent Charlie is the last remaining Brent platform still producing hydrocarbons. Alpha, Bravo and Delta have all ceased production ahead of decommissioning.
