ROVOP has confirmed plans to increase its offshore workforce after winning a string of contracts, totalling £3million.
The firm, which provides subsea remotely operated vehicles (ROV), secured four new clients spanning the North Sea, Mediterranean and West Africa.
The work includes contracts in the oil and gas, offshore wind and power transmission sectors.
Euan Tait, commercial director, said: “As a result of this upcoming work, we anticipate increasing our offshore workforce by approximately 10%, much of which will be focused on our Houston operation.
“This follows the successful establishment of our office there earlier this year and the completion of several workscopes in the US Gulf of Mexico, Central and South America over the past two years.”
