Subsea 7 has won a contract Burullus Gas Company for the platform extension and tie-in on the the first phase of the West Nile Delta development.
The work is on BP’s Taurus and Libra fields’ offshore Egypt.
The offshore work is expected to start in the second half of next year and will utilise three vessels.
Rock Water 2 will be used as the main hook-up and accommodation vessel, Seven Borealis will be used to perform the offshore lift of the platform extension and heavy construction vessel Seven
Arctic will install the umbilical.
