Subsea 7 has landed a deal offshore Egypt.
The service firm dubbed the contract to be “substantial”, which according to company notes pegs it between $150million and $300million.
Pharaonic Petroleum awarded Subsea 7 work on its Atoll field, including the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of more than 40 kilometres of rigid pipelines and associated structures, which will tie-in to the the existing Taurt field at a water depth of 100 metres.
Subsea 7’s region vice resident for Africa, Gilles Lafaye, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Egypt. This substantial contract award recognises our technical expertise and track record of strong execution for Pharaonic Petroleum Company”.
The work will be carried out between the second half of 2017 and early 2018. It will include the Seven Barealis, Seven Eagle and Seven Arctic vessels.
