A Nigerian oil labour union has suspended a strike at Total’s fuel depot after an an agreement was reached to end a row over sackings, according to a union official.
Earlier this week, the union said it had ordered a nationwide stop of work at Total’s fuel depots.
Cogent Ojobor, an official of the Nupeng union in southern Nigeria, said:”The warning strike has been suspended for now.”
