Botswana-focused Tlou Energy has raised £4million in the last month by issuing new shares.
London and Sydney-listed Tlou said its share purchase plan (SPP) had closes with applications totalling £500,000.
It has also received demand for an additional placement to raise a further £400,000.
The firm has now raise £4million in total from the initial placement announced on March 24, the SPP and the additional placement.
Tlou said it would use the funds to increase its gas reserves and to finalise licencing requirements prior to development of the Lesedi coal bed methane project in Botswana.
