ExxonMobil has agreed to buy exploration and production rights for a block off Ghana.
Exploration activities on the Deepwater Cape Three Points block are expected to get under way later this year.
The asset is located 57 miles off Ghana.

“We are excited to partner with the government of Ghana as we employ our significant upstream experience and technological expertise in assessing the exploration opportunities in this block.”
ExxonMobil operates the block with an 80% interest.
