Internationally based Sea Trucks has landed a contract for a development in Nigeria.
The deal will see the offshore support firm provide subsea installation work in the Okwok Field, including installation of a 13km pipeline, fabrication and fixing of tie-in spools and the fitting of topside models.
Two of the company’s DP3 pipelay construction vessels will used to carry out the work and the group’s marine support vessels and barges will also be deployed in the project.
The contract was awarded by Oriental Energy Resources, Afren Exploration and Production Nigeria Alpha and Addax Petroleum (Nigeria Offshore).
The venture is expected to completed by 2015.
