Two FBI agents took the stand in an oil murder-for-hire case.
James Henrikson is accused of arranging the murders of North Dakota man KC Clarke and Spokane businessman Doug Carlile.
It’s alleged he hired Timothy Suckow to carry out the murders.
Agent Scott Snyder testified he found the items that allegedly Henrikson and Suckow burned after Clarke’s murder.
The agent said the item, including a money clip, parts of a tarp, rings from a tarp, part of a work boot, a burnt credit card and a button in the burn pile, were all 18 to 24 months old when he found them in 2014. Clarke went missing in 2012.
Special Agent Jennifer Banks testified as an expert on cell phone records.
Phone records show all three were all in the same area on the day of the murder, according to Agent Banks.
Henrikson later turned his phone off for several hours.
Yesterday, Clarke’s landlord testified she reported the man missing after he failed to pay his rent in March and April 2012.
Earlier, this week lawyers from both sides were forced to apologise after fighting outside the court.
