Petrobras has extended its concessions contracts for the Marlim and Voador fields with the Brazilian National Petroleum Agency (ANP) until 2052.
The contracts were due to expire in 2025.
The 27-year extension will allow Petrobras to drill 10 new wells, increase water injection leverage two new platforms to maximise recovery.
In March, the fields 150,000 barrels of oil and 2 million cubic meters of gas per day.
