Nighthawk Energy, the US focused oil development and production company has received unconditional approval from Colorado authorities to progress its water flood project at Arikaree Creek.
Nighthawk, had received conditional approval from the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservatino Commission in March, subject to the company getting 80% approval of the non-cost bearing royalty interest owners within six months.
In April, London-listed Nighthawk filed an amendment to the original filing, reducing the size of the initial water flood area.
The company received unconditional approval this week and has obtained approval for the project by the required 80% of non-cost bearing royalty interest owners.
“This decision concludes the regulatory approval process and allows the company to move forward with the project.”
