Statoil has completed the sale of its Marcellus assets in West Virginia.
The Norwegian operator struck a deal with EQT Corporation for 62,500 net acres for $407million.
Equity production from the site for the first quarter of the year was 9,300 boe per day.
“Statoil retains its operated properties in the US state of Ohio and its non-operated Marcellus positions,” a company spokesperson said.
