US rig count has continued its climb, according to data from Baker Hughes.
Rigs now total 481 – up 17 from last week. Oil rigs were up 15 to 396, gas rigs up two to 83, and miscellaneous unchanged at two.
The numbers are still down 403 rigs from last year’s count of 884, with oil rigs down 276, gas rigs down 128, and miscellaneous rigs up one.
The US offshore rig count remains unchanged at 17 from last week.
Canadian Rig Count is up four rigs from last week to 126, with oil rigs up five to 65, gas rigs unchanged at 60, and miscellaneous rigs down one to one.
Canadian Rig Count is down 85 rigs from last year’s count of 211, with oil rigs down 35, gas rigs down 51, and miscellaneous rigs up one.
