A woman has died after being hit by the water from a fire hose offshore Brazil.
Marine Eloa Bernardo dos Santos was working on a vessel for Petrobras when fatally hit her head on a pipe as result of the incident on Saturday.
PSV Astro Tamoio was stationed in the Guanabara Bay, near Mill Island at the time.
The tragedy reportedly unfolded during a fire system test on the board the vessel. Three others were injured in the incident.
The woman was taken to hospital but later declared brain dead, according local publication O Globo.
It comes the same week a man died when the scaffolding he was tied to broke and fell in to the water.
