AIM listed oil and gas company Mayan Energy Ltd., has said it is “a few days” behind schedule in relation to its work programme for the Lutcher Moore 13 shallow well on the Shoats Creek field in the US.
In a statement to the stock exchange, the company said: “The delay is attributed to the requirement of the State of Louisiana Office for Conservation requiring the company to do additional work to the well before perforation, so as to protect the known water aquifers which run through the property.”
Mayan, which holds a 50% working interest in the well said the results of the perforation will be released when they are received.
