US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will lead a delegation to Ukraine next week.
The Kiev bound elegation will meet with Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko as well as other government officials to discuss how both countries can continue to boost their economies through a strong energy partnership.
“It is an honor to lead this delegation from the United States to the great country of Ukraine,” said Secretary Perry. “I look forward to strengthening our relationship with such an important ally and furthering our work to ensure energy stability and security in the region.”
Other members of the delegation includes the Kevin Cramer from the House of Representatives, who serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Ray W. Washburne, president and chief executive of Overseas Private Investment Corporation will also attend the talks.
