ExxonMobil could restart most of the production units at its huge Beaumont refinery in Texas by the end of this week, a news report said, citing unidentified sources.
The company is making progress on restarting activities at the refinery, which was shut down as Hurricane Harvey’s swept into Texas.
The refinery’s two crude distillation units restarted on Friday, sources told Reuters.
The hydrocracking unit started working again on Sunday, energy industry intelligence service Genscape said.
The coking unit is expected to reach full-capacity by the last week of September.
