Energy giant Shell has announced that former Maersk Oil CEO Gretchen Watkins will become the new president of the US-arm of the business.
Accountable to the CEO, Ms Watkins will replace Bruce Culpepper who has confirmed he will to step down from the role after 37 years in the company.
Mr Culpepper will officially leave the position from December 31, 2018.
Ms Watkins will officially join Shell from the 1st of May this year as head of unconventionals, replacing Greg Guidry, who is also leaving after a 36-year career with the firm.
She will eventually hold both positions, as well as being U.S. county chair.
