Aberdeen-headquartered Wood has won a £26million contract to construct a natural gas pipeline in the United States,
The energy services firm will construct a 28-mile pipeline, carrying gas from Pennsylvania to Ohio.
The work on the Risberg pipeline is underway and is expected t be completed in summer this year.
It will connect to around 32 miles of existing pipeline originating Meadville, Pennsylvania heading northwest to a new meter station in Ohio which Wood will also construct.
Around 16 miles of the line will be in Pennsylvania and 12 miles in Ohio.
