General Electric (GE) has opened a digital technology centre in India that will create 1,000 jobs.
Staff at the centre, inaugurated today in Bengaluru, often referred to as Bangalore, will develop industrial software and analytics programmes with input from customers.
Bengaluru is the focal point for India’s high-tech industry.
The products will be used to improve productivity.
