Indonesia’s biggest oil refinery, operated by national oil company Pertamina, experienced a huge explosion Monday morning, according to local media reports
There is no information regarding the cause of the fire at the 125,000 barrels per day Balongan oil refinery in West Java, Indonesia, which started in the early hours this morning.
Pertamina said that it was trying to control the massive fire at its Balongan oil refinery and that five people had been injured. About 950 people have been evacuated because of the blaze.
Unverified videos shared on social media showed huge flames at the refinery in Indramayu.
