Santos today confirmed its chief financial officer, Andrew Seaton, will retire at the end of the year, after 11 years of service.
Chief executive Kevin Gallagher said: “Andrew has worked diligently to deliver on the company’s strategy and I would like to recognise his strong contribution over many years. His knowledge and insights over the last few months have been invaluable for the transition of Santos to a new operating model, and I thank him for his integrity, enthusiasm and commitment during this time.
“I look forward to continuing to work closely with Andrew over coming months, and wish him well for the next phase of his career.”
Mr Seaton, who has spent the last six years as CFO, will remain with the company until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities.
Santos has since launched an executive search to find his replacement.
