Eni has postponed start-up from the Goliat field once again.
The company said further assessments needed to be undertaken despite it now being ready to start-up production.
According to reports, the initial ambition had been for start-up to begin at the end of last month.
The date of production start has been moved a number of times before.
Last month, Eni was ordered to address a number of non-conformities on the Goliat FPSO.
Norway’s PSA (Petroleum Safety Authority) issued orders to Eni Norge following an audit of logistics and employee participation.
Goliat is the first oil field to be developed in the Barents Sea. The FPSO is designed by Norwegian company Sevan Marine.
