A report into the investigation of how a worker died when a massive wave hit the rig he was working on is to be published this week.
Rune Morten Narvag, 53, died during fierce storms in the Norwegian North Sea in December last year.
The Aker Solutions employee had been working on the COSL Innovator in the Troll field when the incident had occurred.
Investigations have since been taking place into what caused the worker’s death.
The wave, which smashed a total of 17 windows, was estimated to be around 30 metres high.
A report on the incident by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority is expected to be published on Friday.
