Contracts with Norwegian giant Statoil buoyed Songa Offshore’s earnings last month.
The firm’s Songa Dee achieved 100% operational and earnings efficiency in March working Statoil in Norway.
Its Songa Equinox achieved an operational efficiency of 95% and an earnings efficiency of 94% under its Statoil contract, while Songa Endurance achieved an operational and earnings efficiency of 88% working for the Operator.
Songa Tyrm remained stacked, while the firm continues to market it out.
Songa Encourage is finalizing the Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) process and the client’s Acceptance Test Program in Norway before being put to work.
Finally, Songa Offshore took delivery of Songa Enabler on March 31.
The rig is now en route to Norway and is currently in transit between Korea and Singapore.
