Oceaneering is set to make 150 job losses from its operations in Norway.
The move comes on the same day both EnerMech and Dong Energy also announced additional job losses.
According to reports in Norwegian media, staff were informed of the move earlier this week.
It’s understood around it will affect offshore related ROV jobs.
Chief executive Erik Saestad said the situation was “difficult” but the company remained keen to “create a platform” which was adaptable to the lower oil price.
He said Oceaneering wanted to make itself more competitive in the current marketplace.
