A Norwegian shipyard has filed for bankruptcy with 96 jobs expected to be affected.
Noryards BMV had been trying to reach a debt settlement but has just revealed it was unable to do so.
The company chief executive Pal Grimsrud said it was hoped alternative work could be established for those employees whose jobs were at risk.
He said the shipyard had been looking for a solution but had been unable to do so.
Earlier this week Atlantic Offshore said it had gone into administration following financial difficulties.
