Norway’s production fell in June, it was today confirmed.
Preliminary figures show June had a daily production of 1.8million barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, according to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
The overall output is a 7% dip or 140,000 barrels per day down on May’s figures. The oil output is also down 8% year-on-year.
The average daily liquid production in June was 1.4million barrels of oil, 342,000 barrels of NGL and 34,000 barrels of condensate. Despite the slide on oil production, the output is 6% up on NPD’s estimates for the month.
Total gas sales were about 8.2 billion Sm3, which is 1.4 GSm3 less than previous month.
The total petroleum production for the first six months in 2016 is about 118.5 million Sm3oil equivalents (MSm3 o.e.)
