Providence Resources said today that it had completed the divestment of a 35% stake in an Irish oilfield to Total.
French oil major Total is now the operator of licence 2/14, which contains the undrilled Diablo prospect and the drilled Druid and Drombeg prospects.
The equity in FEL 2/14 is now divided as follows: Total (35%), Cairn Energy (30%), Providence Resources (28%) and Sosina Exploration (7%).
