San Leon Energy has spudded a new well in Poland as it continues it exploration focus in Europe and North Africa.
The Rawicz-15 development well in Poland’s southern Permian Basin, used a rig from Poland’s Exalo Drilling and the well will be operated and funded by Palomar Natural Resources.
San Leon said it would take 35 days to reach a total depth of around 1,600 meters, and will be followed by completion and a full well testing programme.
The company said its current focus is on Polish unconventional oil and gas reserves, Albania and Morocco.
