Eni has been given conditional consent to start using its Goliat FPSO (floating, production, storage and offloading) vessel by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority.
The vessel will be used in the Barents Sea.
A spokesman for the authority said:”The consent means that ENI can start using Goliat FPSO, but it still has to complete the verification process of some equipment and to report back to us.”
