Esso has been given until the end of the month to fix a number of issues after being hit with a number of improvement points by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA).
The move comes after the safety body carried out a major accident inspection and audit of safety-critical maintenance at Slagentangen.
The three improvement notices were overall summary or risks, experience transfer and overall status od and follow-up o maintenance.
Esso now has until April 22nd to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.
Earlier today Rowan were also given a number of improvements to make after an inspection by the PSA.
