Statoil has been hit with a number of improvement points after an audit was carried out on the Johan Sverdrup export pipelines.
The objective of the audit was to monitor that the project has been planned and carried out in compliance with applicable regulations and recognised norms.
The Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) said improvement points were identified relating to governing documents, verifications, systems for pressure-protection of oil pipes and analyses.
Statoil has now been given until July 8th to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.
