Sodexo said yesterday it had received its 13th consecutive British Safety Council (BSC) International Award.
The firm, which has been delivering onsite services in the North Sea for more than 40 years, said it received the award in recognition of its health and safety management.
The company serves 130 North Sea oil and gas industry clients, and its regional headquarters in Aberdeen are supported by offices in Stavanger, in Norway; Esbjerg, in Denmark, and Hoorn and Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.
John Fraser, Sodexo’s health, safety and environment manager, said the company was proud of the achievement and said it was only possible because all Sodexo employees could identify potential accidents and took responsibility for dealing with them.
