The six finalists for this year’s oil and gas safety awards have been announced.
Stork Technical Services, SBM and Total ABK Academy have been nominated for this year’s employer of the year award, while PT Samson Tiara, IFAP and MSTS/Falck Safety Services Malaysia will contest the training providers award.
The awards, organised by industry training body Opito, will be announced at the group’s safety and competency conference in Abu Dhabi next month.
The conference, now in its fifth year, aims to bring together oil and gas operators, contractors and members of the supply chain along with training groups to improve safety standards.
More than 300 delegates are set to attend the event, which takes place in the UAE capital’s Park Hyatt hotel on November 19.
